Digital Master Class with YENI (Young Enterprise Northern Ireland), Matt Johnston & Peter Doak from Caster & Candy.

The session kicked off with an introduction from Young Enterprise Northern Ireland on what a Digital Masterclass is.

“Each Masterclass is sector specific and will give students real life, practical experience of the challenges faced in the industry. Students will also have the opportunities to hear first hand from entrepreneurs in the field, who will share their experiences and help students turn their ideas into actions.” – YENI Website

Peter Doak from Caster & Candy then gave an overview of where the business has come from and what the type of business a digital marketing agency does including app development, email marketing, social media management, paid online ads and website development.

Matt Johnston, entrepreneur, innovator, then took the pupils on an inspiring journey through some of the most amazing apps, gadgets and life experiences from being an entrepreneur.

The pupils then had an opportunity to create a concept for their own app, design it and produce tweets to market it.

The session finished up with tips from Matt & Peter to the pupils and then it was on to next classes for the pupils and back to business for the guests.
